Early Years Foundation Stage
Children are defined as having reached a 'Good Level of Development' at the end of the Early Years Foundation stage if they achieve at least the expected level in:
- The early learning goals in the prime areas of learning: personal, social and emotional development, communication and language
Plus
- The early learning goals in the specific areas of mathematics and literacy.

School Performance Data 2019-2020
Due to COVID-19 no assessment results have been reported to the DfE during the summer term 2020. Education for all children has been significantly disrupted to avoid the spread of the coronavirus, a global pandemic.
The government has announced that it will not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020. This update published here clarifies what this means for the way school and college accountability will operate for 2019/20
