When using the tricky word resources below:

Focus on the first set of words first. Once your child is confident with these move on to the others.

Tricky word game- You will need to print off the table, have a dice and some counters (if using multiple times)or you could just tick them off. Take it in turns to roll the dice- read the word associated with the number rolled on the dice, place a counter on top or tick off. The next time that number is rolled read the next word.

Tricky words-

Print off and hide around the house- every time your child finds one they read it.

Print off 2 copies to play a game or pairs or snap reading the word each time it is uncovered or placed down.
