This week the children all went on a local walk to investigate a topic that they are learning about in their classes.

For their homework we would like the children to share what they discovered. 

Year 1 went on a walk to investigate what signs of spring can be spotted in our local area.

Bronze - to share and discuss the signs of spring that they spotted on their local walk.

Silver - to write a list of the signs of spring that they spotted, whilst on their local walk.

Gold - to write sentences, using adjectives to describe the signs of spring that they spotted, whilst on their local walk.

Example of gold - I saw a beautiful butterfly.

Year 2 went for a walk to our local park, to investigate what forces are used when playing on the equipment.

Bronze - to share and discuss what forces they used when playing on the equipment with their adults at home.

Silver - to write a list of forces they used when playing on the equipment.

Gold - to write sentences, naming what they played on and what force was needed.

Example of gold - I used my arms to pull myself up on the climbing wall.
