Easter Project

This project is for over the Easter Break. We will need to be a little more creative than normal as you might not have as many Easter craft bits as usual. Matilda has made the most beautiful hat. Find a video below to help you out!

Our project this week comes in 3 challenges. Start at Bronze and see how far you can go.

Bronze Challenge: Find the resources you have and design a Easter hat. Don’t forget to label your design with the materials you will use.

Silver Challenge: Make your bonnet. Can you give yourself 2 stars and a wish? Two things you think you did really well and something you could improve on next time.

Gold Challenge: Can you write a set of instructions for someone else to make your bonnet? Remember to use everything you learnt last week in our instruction writing. Don’t forget the imperative verbs!

Padlock Challenge: Can you test your instructions? Could you ask someone else to make your bonnet using your instructions? How well did they do? Did you need to edit any of the steps?

When it comes to the kids' Easter bonnet competition, make sure you're winning best in show! We're showing you how to make Easter bonnet decorating easy.

Projects Week 1

Continuing the theme of Science Week our project this week is to send in a little video clip or a photo of a practical experiment you do. This could be anything from tinkering and exploring with different materials or a more structured project like Lewis in Hedgehog Class. He has kindly said we could post his instructions just in case you want to give it a go too.

Looking forward to seeing what you get up to. If you are allowed to have your photo or clip posted on our website please ask an adult to add the caption: "I give permission for this to go on the King's Court Website."  (Whether there are people in it or not we will not post anything without written permission in the email as these are photos in your homes - many thanks)
