This week, year 1 and 2 are working on their understanding of money. The activity sheets below focus on recognising coins and creating amounts of coins. Whereas year 2 will be working on more problem solving questions related to money and solving one step problems involving subtraction. As well as using the activity sheets to support your child's learning, you could also have a go at creating your own 'mini-shop' at home and using mathematical learning to solve money word problems.
