As writers, our topic this term is poetry. We are using the skills that were introduced in the Autumn term to start to write our own poems. This week we would like children share some of the poems that they have read in school with their adults at home.

Bronze - To talk to their adults at home, describing why they like that poem. Children can then draw and label a character from the poem.

Silver - To choose 1 poem and write sentences describing what happens, using capital letters and full stops.

Gold - To use ideas from the poems that we have read this week to write your own poem, using capital letters, full stops and commas where needed.
