This week we have been reading the story ‘The Tunnel' in class. The children have been creating questions for Rose and Jack, who are the main characters of the story. This week we would like the children to answer a range of questions that we created together. Some of the questions that we created were.....

Why did you crawl through the tunnel?

How did you feel when your brother was turned into stone?

Were you scared?

Who turned you into stone?

What did you do next?

The children's challenges are below

Bronze – To hot seat the answers to your questions, in role as one of the characters.

Silver – To write out the answer to these questions using correct grammar and punctuation. 

Gold – To write your answers in full using when, if and but to extend their sentences, whilst using correct grammar and punctuation.
