To continue our learning about our class story 'The Tunnel' we would like the children to complete the story planner scaffold below. Children could think about their 2 characters, names and ages. who are their characters, where are the going and how will they get through the tunnel. Children have been given hard copies but a copy has been uploaded below.

This week we would like the children to complete a VE Day diary entry about how you may feel as a soldier when you find out that the Second World War is over. Why would you feel that way and what experiences have you had.

 For homework we would like the children to complete a reading comprehension all about VE Day.

Children have been given a hard copy to complete, however a digital copy is available where you can  choose 1 of the 3 reading comprehensions from the file below. Children should challenge themselves to complete this independently where possible.
