This week, we’re taking a look at division. KS1 can practise sharing objects into equal groups. They can also practise using the division sign and writing a number sentence. Last week, we recapped multiplication and using arrays. Children can also have a go at circling groups of arrays to show how division works. Mathematical language taught within this unit of learning includes: sharing, groups, division, dividing, share equally etc.
