This week we have been reading the story ‘Silly Billy’ in class. The children have been role playing conversations with Billy and giving him advice for his worries. This week we would like the children to create their own character that we will develop in school next week. When thinking about their own character for the story children should think about the following....

What is your new character called?

How old are they?

Are they a boy or a girl?

What sort of clothes do they wear?

Are they a human or a chimpanzee?

Who else is in their family?

The children's challenges are below

Bronze – To draw a new character for their story, and add labels for the character’s name and age.

Silver – To draw a new character for their story, then write 2 sentences about your character. Remember to use  adjectives to describe your character in your sentences and capital letters and full stops.

Gold – To draw a new character for their story, then write sentences about your character answering the above questions. Remember to use  adjectives to describe your character in your sentences and capital letters and full stops.
