Week beginning 15.3.21
A builder, erecting scenery in the castle grounds for an open-air production of the play, 'The Silver Sword', was attacked by a crowd of hooligans. They wrecked the scenery with scissors and knives, whilst their dog gnawed biscuits from his lunch bag. As they unfastened a mock stone column, the builder found his tongue and shouted for help. The guilty group listened, and heard a policeman's whistle. They ran off and when the police arrived, there was no sign of them.
