Follow the activities on the video and if you want to challenge yourself you can look at the concept cartoons under them.  These are diagrams with children discussing a scientific concept and they are giving their thoughts about it.  The last speech bubble is left blank and this is for your idea.  Think about what you agree with and what evidence you can use to support your findings.

Lesson 1
In this lesson we are going to learn about what plants need to grow. Then we will learn about variables in order to set up a simple experiment to test the effect of water on the growth of a plant.

In this lesson, we will recap our knowledge of plants, animals and habitats and learn about ecosystems.
Lesson 4
In this lesson, we are going to learn how fossils are formed and how they provide evidence for the theory of evolution. We will learn what the fossil record is and why there are parts missing from the record. In this lesson, you will need a piece of paper and a pencil.
Lesson 5
In this lesson, we will learn each of the steps of the rock cycle. We will learn how igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rock are all connected through a demonstration involving jelly beans! You will need a piece of paper, a pencil and a ruler for this lesson.
Lesson 6
In this lesson, we will learn what forces are. We will also learn about contact forces and non-contact forces. Finally, we will test our knowledge with some application questions.
