Today, have a look at the practical fraction activities below. See which ones you might like to have a go at. Can you find any other practical fraction activities?

If you have Lego or building blocks at home, how could you use those to represent something you have found out about fractions? Could you build a fraction wall?

You could create a Fraction Wheel:

*Cut out 2 circles of different colours and cut a slit from the outer edge to the centre in both circles.

*You can then slot one wheel onto the other and can show different fractions e.g. 1/4 blue/    3/4 yellow in the example above.
