Piet Mondrian was a Dutch artist who created geometric abstract works of art. Here is just one example of his work.
Today, I would like you to create a piece of 'Fraction Art' inspired by Mondrian. How could you create a similar piece of art whilst considering fractions?
You will need:
A pencil
A ruler
A sheet of squared paper
A red, yellow and blue pencil (for white, you can leave the paper blank)
Could you colour-code the fractions you are including? How would all of the pieces fit together?
There is no right or wrong way of doing this - be creative.
(If you need a helping hand, you will find an example when you click on the button below, but try to have a go first.)
