This week in maths we have been looking at number fact families. These are when you use the same 3 numbers to make 2 adding and 2 taking away number sentences. An example of a number fact family looks like this:
24 15 9
Please use the challenge sheets below for the children to practice creating some number fact families. Ask the children what challenge they have mainly been completing in maths this week to know which challenge to choose. If they are choosing Gold- they must complete the missing number in the part whole model before they complete their fact family. We have talked about doing the inverse (opposite) calculation in class and that adding and taking away are the opposite of each other. Please upload to Dojo once completed so we can see how they have got on. Happy number crunching!
